“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
Jesus died for our sins and he laid down his life just for us. But do you know anyone else on earth who would be willing to do the same for you? Most likely some have said that they will. However, when it comes right down to it, would they really be willing to die just so that you can live? Jesus died and rose again. We have a chance at eternal life and access to the forgiveness of our sins. I have many friends, but not one of them would be willing to die for me so that I might live. Therefore, Jesus has proved himself already as the truest friend of all. He has never failed me. His love has been unmovable, unstoppable and consistent. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
