Today I am taking the time to give the Lord praise for another year. Today is my birthday. Reflecting back over my life renders an attitude of gratitude. I have been through some good experiences in my life and I have been through some rough and horrible experiences. My thoughts toward the mind of God today is that I am thankful to have survived and that I am yet, by the grace of God still here. What a wonderful God! I give praise to the God Almighty who was with me in times when my life was in distress. He was with me when I thought that I would not live to see another day. The Lord was with me in times of trial and tribulations and in times up triumph. The one thing that I have learned in all of these years is that life is sometimes difficult, unpredictable and many times blissful. But the Lord was right there through it all. I thank the Lord for my beautiful and awesome husband, Dr. Gregory L. Fletcher, and our daughters, Chestna, Gladys, Kirsten and Ellice. I appreciate the Lord today and I honor him and pray that I have many more birthdays with good health, blessings, protection, and favor. I would also like to thank all of my friends and family from face book and all over the world who have expressed such beautiful birthday wishes and greetings. God bless you, I love you.

Today is my husband’s birthday. I would like to dedicate this spot just for him. He is the kindest man I know. Dr. Gregory L. Fletcher is the priest of my household in that he is a man of wisdom, an ordained minister, possesses spiritual gifts, has musical talents, is professional minded, he has a heart for God and ministry, a heart of gold and he loves me with all of his heart. He is the greatest father and loves our children.
Gregory, I love you with all of my heart. I thank God for you and cannot imagine life without you. Thank you for walking in the realm of a “real man” in all aspects of my life that needs you. As we approach the season of the resurrection take time to reflect on the fact that Jesus died for our sins just so that we could be saved and have a right to the tree of life. What kind of love is this that God would surrender his only son to be killed for us so that we can have a chance of redemption? What an almighty God we serve. Lord, thank you for dying for me so that I can have a chance at eternal life.

The power of God is available. However, you must believe in it and trust in him. It is all about what you believe. The power of the Lord is potent and ready for illustration regardless of our beliefs. But we must tap into it by trusting him to do what he can do. He is available. His love and power are available. But do you believe?

This is my favorite scripture. I absolutely love it. However, I have found that there is another element involved in all of this. That element is called timing. I have found that the Lord did answer my prayers but not when I wanted them answered. He answered in his own timing. Some answers to some prayers took what seemed like forever! But what I found was that it took time for God to work out things, situations, issues, people and other aspects to make it all happen. He was always working behind the scenes, even when I couldn’t see what was going on. God is always working! Be encouraged to know that he has not forgotten and that he is working it out.

My name, Patrice, comes from the word “Patrician”, which was a class of royal people in Roman times. These people were kings, queens, princes and princesses. “Patrice” means….”of noble birth”. With further research, I found out that Patrice means “wealthy and owner of much land, one who is royal and who is blessed through inheritances”. I find that interesting and I accept the prophecy over my life. What does your name mean?

Let us magnify the Lord today and praise his name. He is answering prayers and delivering people daily. He has heard my cry on many ocassions. He delivers us from our fears if we ask him and seek him. Exalt the name of the Lord!
